The Caribbean Collection by N Y X

Stum­bling upon this col­lec­tion was a bit of a dream. When you’re from the small­est twin-island Fed­er­a­tion in the Caribbean—St. Kitts & Nevis—you almost don’t expect any­one to rec­og­nize you, much less for a cos­metic com­pany to name 2 of 10 eye­shadow palettes after your home­town. Maybe I need to broaden my scope of hope, but I am over­joyed that NYX Cos­met­ics did just that with their Caribbean Collection.

This is by no means a new col­lec­tion. It first hit the vir­tual air­waves just in time for sum­mer ’09. So, it’s not too ironic that being in a summer-state-of-mind I would find myself impressed enough to put these NYX palettes on blast. I love a good/great/special eye shadow palette.
